Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for families getting started
Common questions about ABA, assessments, funding, scheduling, and how Neural Connection supports children and families in Windsor and surrounding areas.
Answers to questions families ask most
What is ABA
Applied behaviour analysis uses information about learning and behaviour to guide teaching and evaluate progress. At Neural Connection, goals are selected around the child's needs and useful everyday skills.
Do you provide an autism diagnosis
Our ABA assessment supports skill development and treatment planning. It does not replace an autism diagnostic evaluation. We can discuss which type of assessment you are seeking during the consultation.
Do I need a referral
You can contact us directly to ask about services. We will explain any documentation needed for the particular service, funding arrangement, or intake process.
How many therapy hours will my child need
Recommendations depend on assessment findings, goals, readiness, and family circumstances. We discuss the proposed schedule and review it as needs and progress change.
Can you support a child who does not speak
Communication goals can use gestures, signs, pictures, or an established AAC device, as appropriate. With consent, we can collaborate with the child's speech-language professional.
Can I use OAP funding
Yes you can, the family receives OAP core clinical funding and uses it to purchase eligible services.
How much do services cost
Contact us for current fees and a written estimate. We explain assessment, direct service, supervision, and any other applicable charges before you agree to services.
How soon can we begin
Contact us for current availability.
What happens during the free consultation
